Overview

Designed for the MX2 Class and for all riders looking for a 2-stroke with explosive character. Its engine is optimised for maximum performance, from acceleration at the starting gate to the most exciting corner exits.

The heart of the RX 250 2T is a completely new engine, designed for one purpose only: competition. Unlike the 350, the architecture of this engine is entirely dedicated to the pursuit of maximum performance, with explosive power delivery and exceptional thrust at high revs, just as required for track riding.

The RX 250 2T engine is not an adjustment, but an entirely new design, developed with a single focus: competition in the MX2 Class. Every single element of the thermal unit has been designed for this engine; head, cylinder, crankshaft, crankcase, and so on. Nothing has been left to chance. The result is explosive power delivery and exceptional thrust at high revs, giving you the maximum advantage anytime, anywhere.

The Nissin system with 260 mm (front) and 240 mm (rear) Galfer discs ensures powerful and modulated braking. It allows you to precisely manage the 250s great responsiveness, ensuring decisive braking and total control to maintain maximum speed in corners.

The 13/50 final gear ratio is a specific choice for the 250 2T, designed to enhance its character. Maximum responsiveness and acceleration out of corners, to effectively transfer all the engines power to the ground.

The silent blocks on the handlebar reduce vibrations and improve comfort. This translates into less fatigue for the rider, who can thus maintain maximum performance for longer.

Radiators with a reinforced structure are essential for a high-performance engine like the 250 2T. They guarantee optimal cooling even during the most intense use in competition, ensuring maximum reliability when the engine is called upon to give its all.

The choice of a single spark plug head is a key element that defines the character of the 250. This configuration has been developed to maximise performance at high revs, ensuring that explosive power delivery that allows riders to exploit every single horsepower of the engine.

No compromises: the crankshaft has a dedicated 72mm stroke and the crankcase features internal machining and intake passages with geometries unique to the 250. Each component has been engineered for the specific architecture of this engine.

The cylinder, piston and exhaust valve have been designed from scratch specifically for this displacement. The valve timing, with dedicated springs, has been finely calibrated to support the responsive and powerful nature of the engine.
